An Important News Story to Me: Ebola Death Toll Jumps to 2,300.
Toward the end of July of this year, the head doctor, Sheik Umar Khan, who was fighting against the deadly Ebola outbreak in Sierra-Leone has fallen victim to the virus. Now, as it is continuing to get farther into its development, there have been 2,300 pronounced dead.
As this issue has continued, many more continue to catch the deadly virus. Khan, who was thought to be able to overcome the virus for West Africa and its people, is now in critical condition because of it and is now being treated.
Other doctors from international private medical corporations have been donating aid in order to assist the cause, yet there has not been much good coming out. Because the death toll keeps going up, this issue is becoming more and dangerous each day.
There is no known cure or vaccine for this Ebola catastrophe.
